1.22 Update


Hi all! Been a while. I've been pretty busy, but someone found a bug and that's just not acceptable! There's also a few minor things I've been playing around with over the last... 9 months? Wow

  • Added a "queue" for barrages, to prevent situations where an entire barrage throws at once.
    • Previously, when images in a barrage took a moment to load (large file sizes, network-loaded images like emotes) the barrage would tend to throw all at once. Barrages should now be guaranteed to spread out over (at minimum) the specified barrage frequency.
  • Added "Pixel Scaling" option for items.
    • You should enable this for pixel art items! It will disable the normal scale filtering to keep the images sharp.
  • Normalized model return speed.
    • The "Model Return Speed" setting is now replaced with a "Model Return Time" setting. This should be more granular and intuitive.
  • Added "Mod Only" setting for chat commands.
    • When enabled, only the broadcaster and moderators can use the chat command. Useful for triggering bonks via chat bots.
  • Fixed single emote redeems not working.
  • Updated packages.

I'm sure there's one other thing I was meaning to do this update, but I can't remember what it was. Uhhhhhhh oh right, VTS added item pinning to the API. I want to do that eventually, but it looks really complicated at the moment and I'm very busy. Maybe one day..!
